A commerce student at Saint Mary’s University was pondering about job options to help cover is tuition costs.
In the summer of 2005, Matthew Moore decided to make his own way by renting out furnished rooms in a house on a leafy green street, next to Dalhousie University.
After living in many student accommodations while studying in Canada and in Europe, it became obvious that the selection of quality and flexible student living options was severely limited.
By incorporating functionality with flexible lease terms, Moore Student Living’s popularity among students grew.
The business continued to grow by acquiring and renovating properties that were a short stroll from campus, all-the-while keeping the values of Quality and Service the business was founded on close at heart.
Today Moore Student Living has over 40 rooms and 20 apartments. The student housing business continues to grow, but one thing remains the same: our tenants are still inquisitive and optimistic young people. In other words, the world’s nicest tenants!
